This are will soon be added to with some more material. In the mean time, we have added a Travel Essay about our visit to Samoa, and a link to our picture gallery from our visit in April 2000.

Samoa is truly one of the strangest places we have ever visited. Samoa is truly one of the strangest places we have ever visited. Here you find a country that has houses with no walls - and a place where people seem not to have to work! Furthermore, it seems normal to sit in the sea up to your neck (fully clothed) to cool off a little - and children walk barefoot to school for miles carrying brand new rugby boots. The gardens are more tidy and better maintained than deepest Hampstead, and otherwise poor villagers trim their lawns with diesel strimmers. We will add a feature on this country - but in the meantime enjoy this essay whcih we we wrote on our return.
